On Saturday, February 29, 2020, Bella Q Dance Studio Company will host one of the most remarkable cultural events in the city of Phoenix. Each year the Gran Gala Dominica aims not only to commemorate the Independence of the Dominican Republic but also to bring together all Latinas, Latinos, and any immigrant while celebrating their success and impact in the community. However, this year, this event will take on a whole new dimension because it will also be an opportunity for reTech Global to raise funds to build a computer lab for children in the city of El Corozo, in the Dominican Republic.
This year’s Gala will be held in an atmosphere of gaiety, with the flavor of Latin music. Indeed, the famous group La Jarra Band, a group of police officers from New York, will be at the event to set the party on fire. There is no good party without delicious dishes. While you relax in this electric atmosphere, indulge your taste buds by relishing some of the dishes that are the pride of the Latin community.
Add your name to the list of 400 guests we are expecting for this evening. Among them will be diverse cultures, including corporate and philanthropic leaders; local, national and international guests; celebrities; and community leaders of the Phoenix and bordering Tri-State area.
Part of the funds collected will be dedicated to setting up this computer lab, a project led by reTech Global. Retech Global is a non-profit organization created by former and current students of the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Its objective is to provide computer technology access to communities in need.
