1st Annual Mr. Thunderbird Fundraising Contest
Friday, April 19th, 8:00 – 10:00 pm, Thunderbird Pavilion

What is it?: Attention students, don’t miss out on the chance to be a part of the newest Thunderbird tradition! The TSG is hosting the Mr. Thunderbird Fundraising Contest for the class gift that is also a great opportunity to have another memorable and unique experience while at school. The contest will feature a group dance, fashion show, talent show, and Q&A. You will be judged by select members of TSG, Administration and Faculty.

Enter and represent yourself, your club, region or anything. Don’t miss out on this fun event!

How to Apply: All gentlemen on campus are welcome to apply to be a contestant. Applicants must email a brief, max 100 word, explanation of why they think they are a good candidate for Mr. Thunderbird to Reid Drossos (rdrossos@global.t-bird.edu) by April 5th at 5:00 pm.

How to Qualify: Each contestant will have to raise $100 by April 19th in order to enter. $100 is the minimum entry, but we encourage contestants to raise as much money as possible and there will be an additional prize for raising the most funds.

What is at Stake: As if being crowned Mr. Thunderbird, with all the respect and admiration attached to the title, isn’t a high enough honor, the victor will also have his name engraved on the Mr. Thunderbird Plaque that will bear his picture until he is dethroned in the next competition. The plaque will be prominently displayed at the Pub.

Please look through the attached issue tracker to find the responses to these queries. Also attached are the meeting minutes from our last two public meetings. Thank you again for bringing these things to our notice! Please do continue to stop by, say hi and give us the opportunity to serve you better.
