We hope your week is going well! The trimester has zipped past, and we’re approaching the final three weeks of Spring ’13.
During this past 9 weeks, you have brought to us 70 questions through our table at the Commons. From course packs and faculty feedback forms to why not a Ms. Thunderbird and the soap operas in the Commons, a range of questions have been asked! We want to thank you for speaking to us and bringing your concerns to the table so that we could address them and make minor and major changes through the various departments on our campus.

TSG Honors Outstanding Clubs and Student Leadership

The Thunderbird Student Government has worked hard to build a sense of community among student leaders this trimester, and encourage our clubs to plan and perform at ever higher standards! Have you been involved in a club that positively impacted your Thunderbird experience? Now is your chance to recognize the club leader (President, member, or otherwise), who made that experience possible!
Please participate in this brief Survey where students will be allowed to select vote for the best clubs, club leaders and student members! These awards will be presented on April 26 at TSG Public meeting 1:00pm. Please mark your calendars and attend this meeting – you or your favorite club might be one of those that gets honored that day!

B-School Made Me Funny- Only a few tickets left..!

Need something to do on Friday, April 12th? Look no further than the AT&T Auditorium as the nationwide “B-School Made Me Funny” comedy tour is coming to campus to perform for Thunderbird MBAs! Starring comedian, Anish Shah, a Yale MBA, turned McKinsey consultant, turned comic!

Presenting TSG’s first Ice Cream Social! We are inviting you, our fellow students, faculty, and staff, to come out under the Pavilion on Tuesday, April 16, to enjoy some great ice cream and beautiful sun rays. It should be a great break from the regular droll days this time of year.

Are you interested in getting your project management certification? Having trouble getting started? PMC is here to help! The Project Management Club will be offering a session to help potential test takers fill out their PMP or CAPM application forms. Students who have successfully taken the PMP exam will be on hand for assistance.
Global Sustainable Social Enterprise Speaker

Sponsored by the China Entrepreneur Network (CEN) and co-Sponsored by the Africa Business Club (ABC), this Monday, Mr. Jonathan Hall (President of Phoenix Ivy Council, CFO of DreamBrands, Inc)and Dr. Mike O’Niel (President of O’Neil Associates, Inc., Board member for the Lost Boys Center for Leadership Development) will be speaking to us about Global Sustainable Social Enterprise- about creating environmental and economic self-sustaining social ventures.
The Phoenix Ivy Council is a nonprofit organization comprised of 30 regional alumni clubs and over 16,000 alumni affiliated with high caliber academic research universities, such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Princeton, MIT, etc. The organization is helping coordinate the development of social enterprise models that will be nationally and globally scalable. This disruptive innovation for social change approach creates environmental and economic self-sustaining social enterprises ventures.

Learn how coaching skills can make you a better leader! The Thunderbird SHRM chapter presents an interactive coaching workshop hosted by two internal executive coaches from Banner Health. Over the
past six years, Banner Health has created a robust coaching program that has impacted over 2500 leaders and physicians. Lisa Robinson and Clay Taylor are both certified coaches that will share their expertise on how to improve your leadership skills through coaching.

It’s that time. With the end of a trimester, comes the party of the trimester. It is a time to celebrate, remember, and look toward the future. For those that will be graduating in May, it will be that final Thunderbird hooray!
