Thunderbird Student Government, Spring 2015, hosted its first Regional Night on February 18. It explored the food, drink, dance and song of the India Sub Continent Club and Middle East and North Africa Club. The night featured an array of regional dance from all over India, a fashion show and some Saharan African comedy.

Saturday also marked the first Regional Night with a focus on recycling and sustainability. A collaboration between Events Planning Chair Jonaki Moitra and Sustainability Chair Marissa Burkett, Regional Night boasted new glass recycling bins for disposal of the night’s signature beer (Kingfisher). Additionally, food service items used in the event were completely recyclable.
