Internship Reports Now Available in GlobalConnect

In addition to a company’s interview questions being posted in GlobalConnect, you can now review the internship reports of every student who completed an internship (for credit) in the Spring, Summer or Fall of 2010, and the Spring or Summer of 2011 too!

The satisfaction questionnaire results and weekly reports of recent interns contain rich information on the structure, training processes and business units of the companies where your fellow Tbirds interned over the last two years. They also share the types of projects students worked on and what kind of activities they did while there. This can be of huge value to you when determining which companies to pursue!

Companies with internship reports ready for you to review include Hilti, Eli Lilly, ExxonMobil and many more.

To review interview questions and internship reports on companies:
Log in to GlobalConnect
Click on the Employer tab at the top.
Search for the company you’re interested in and click their name.
Click on the Notes tab from their profile and select

Success Stories

As a result of our one-on-one meetings with graduating students, we are highly encouraged by the amount of Tbirds receiving job offers. In fact, one advisor met with 10 students over 2 days and altogether they reported 11 job offers! As soon as they choose which jobs to accept, we’ll let you know the good news. For now, here’s what we know as far as recent job acceptances:

Ethan David: ALLEX Program Participant (Leadership Development Program), Air Liquide (4 US locations, one every 6 months.)
Amitesh Kumar: Business Analyst – I, Ericsson, Plano, TX
Cara Dorenberg: HR Rotational Program, Delphi, Troy, MI

If you or someone you know has recently accepted a job offer, please let the CMC know so we can  share the good news with others. Don’t forget, anytime you receive an offer, please report it via the Reporting tab in GlobalConnect. This will help recruiters know what kinds of jobs interest Thunderbird students.
