5.       Work together for a harassment free Thunderbird

Thunderbird is committed to providing a work environment where all employees and students can work together comfortably and productively, free from harassment. Critical to this commitment is the ongoing education and training of our community regarding harassment and discrimination prevention.  Thunderbird has entered into an agreement with our risk reduction partner, United Educators (UE), an expert in the field of risk management to provide training to all faculty, staff and students on harassment and discrimination prevention.  This partnership has opened up UE’s comprehensive, education-specific risk management resource online training programs to Thunderbird.

At www.edurisklearning.org, you can access information and tools to gain an understanding of the risks faced by schools, colleges, and universities and how to safeguard our students, staff, and faculty.

To access the courses, learners will need to follow a web link to UE’s Learning Management System (LMS) and enter a registration code that validates their eligibility to take the course. Once the registration code is accepted, learners can register for and take any of the courses. (Note: Please use your Global.t-bird email address and make sure to identify yourself as a student when registering.)

If you need assistance, please contact the UE Helpdesk via email at:  uehelpdesk@perceptis.com. The last day to complete this training is on October 31, 2014.
