Experiencing Foundations: Events for New and Returning Students

As most students move to Arizona to start the Fall 2021 semester at Thunderbird, the administration has scheduled some fun and informative events to ensure that students are prepared to start classes this fall.

For returning students, there is the Welcome Back—Fall 2021 celebration on August 18th at the Beus Center for Law and Society building (BCLS), right next to Thunderbird’s new global headquarters. The event, which lasts from 1 to 4:30 p.m., includes opportunities to catch up with fellow students, hear from the CMC about priority areas of focus for the upcoming year, learn more about the Global Challenge Lab, and listen to a welcome address from Dean Khagram himself. The following schedule shows all the exciting events taking place on that day:

For first-year students, orientation will take place right after the first day of classes and include well-loved favorites like the opening flag ceremony and a presentation on the Thunderbird mystique. The following schedule shows the events taking place:

Das Tor wishes both first- and second-year students the best of luck as they start the Fall 2021 semester!
