This is part of the ongoing Das Tor series “Global Eats,” in which T-birds share cooking stories and recipes unique to their culture or travels around the globe. During the first ever Global Eats Cooking Competition, talented chefs from around the world submitted their written recipes to Das Tor for judgement based on their creativity and originality.
After much deliberation, a panel of judges representing Das Tor, Thunderbird Student Government, and the Humphrey Fellows from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Media selected a winner: Sakhi Solanki for her recipe A Taste of India: Aloo Paratha.
Hosted by one of the Humphrey Fellows, Ms. Andrea Polanco, this episode takes us on a journey to India while Sakhi cooks her delicious recipe.
