Rugby. Is. Back.

This past weekend, Thunderbirds from all over descended on the Rugby pitch for the first Rugby scrimmage of the trimester. It was the first chance for the team to get out and show their new incoming ruggers the ways of the team. Surviving the heat, the team divided up and played a scrimmage against each other. And low and behold… T-BIRD WON! Fans came to the pitch and were welcomed with burgers and hot dogs sponsored by the team. After scoring the first goal of the match, new incoming student Oliver Holmes, made it known that rugby has always been a way of life. “I’ve played for 18 years–I love it.”

The team was looking tired but ready for an incredible season full of Thunderbird wins. Best of luck gentlemen!
