TSG Budget Approved:
At the TSG Public Meeting on Friday, the TSG Budget was approved for the Spring 2013 trimester. For full details on the budget, please visit the TSG MTB page. A big thank you to Amar Haware for his hard work as TSG Treasurer in putting together this streamlined and well-planned budget.

Emailing your questions is a perfect opportunity for you to participate.

Case Competition Fund:
This trimester, the TSG has allocated $2000 to a Case Competition Fund. Rebecca Henriksen has added another $2000, making it a total of $4000. This amount will be used exclusively for those students who represent Thunderbird at case competitions. The TSG is ready to look into your requests and reimburse a certain amount- requests will be dealt with on a first come- first serve basis. Please note that certain case competitions require endorsement from a faculty member before withdrawing funds from the TSG.

Attention May ’13 graduates- Class Gift Survey:
During each Fall and Spring Trimester at Thunderbird, money is raised to pay for the Class Gift. The Class Gift is given to the school by the graduating class each trimester. Through a collaborative effort, the TSG wants to make this trimester’s Class Gift truly special and this is your first chance to share your opinion on the Class Gift.

Reid Drossos, our Alumni Relations & Executive Education Chair would love to hear your suggestions on ideas for the class gift. Please fill out this one question survey to help him out: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BX9F6K2

Contributions towards the class gift will be collected during the Regional Night.

Every day of the week, TSG members will be in the Commons waiting to talk to you, answer the questions and further your queries. Also, you have the option to write to Guy/ CMC and Rebecca/Student Services any thoughts or questions (you have the option to keep this anonymous) and we will pass this on for you! Please stop by and say hi!

When: Monday – Thursday from 1 – 2 pm

Where: Commons

Thunderbird Rugby video:
Last trimester, the Thunderbird Rugby Club produced a movie on campus to promote the club and Thunderbird. If you haven’t already seen it, it definitely deserves a watch!

New piano at Coleman Lounge!
Due to the generous donation of a recent graduate, we may now enjoy playing on a piano at the Coleman Lounge in the East Dorms.

Last but not the least, we would like to invite all of you to join us at the TSG Public Meetings that will be held every Friday of the trimester from 1:00 – 2:30 pm at Brown Lecture Hall- 53. This is a great forum to bring your questions and concerns. Several members of the administration, including Rebecca Henriksen, Steve Taylor and Guy Groff attend these meetings. The meeting minutes from our last TSG meeting are uploaded to our MTB page. Additionally, this Friday, February 8th, we will be voting on the budget for this trimester. We hope to see you there!
