Thunderbird License Plates Go On Sale Today

licenseArizona motorists can show their pride in Thunderbird School of Global Management with a new specialty license plate that went on sale today. Each specialty plate costs $25, and $17 of this amount goes directly to Thunderbird as a charitable gift. Thunderbird students, staff and alumni voted on the plate’s design in summer 2011 after T-bird alumni Vishal Baijal ’08 and Aram Chavez ’08 helped gained approval for the plate in the Arizona Legislature. The winning design, shown above, features the Thunderbird seal and a world map. To order a plate, visit www.servicearizona.com and click “Vehicle” under service categories. Then click “Personalized/Specialty Plates” under Service Categories. This should bring you to a menu with three options. Click “Order my plate,” then “Continue.” From the menu, select the Thunderbird plate design and proceed with credit card payment.
