ThunderDance holds Thunder Classes

The ThunderDance club began holding weekly classes, allowing students to learn dances from around the world and possibly burn out some of those extra calories from all that cheese and cookies we eat.

Starting the week:


Jennifer Juma:

Learn a fusion of upbeat contemporary Afropop and traditional West African dance styles.


5pm to 6pm


amAnirrban Mukherjii:

Roughly translated as ‘Show your Spirit’, every Tuesday night we will be learning a few Bollywood steps on a popular number. This Wednesday (Tuesday is L’Oreal’s info session), Thunderwomen are invited to join in for some fun and learn the steps on ‘Aa Re Pritam Pyaare’

cheChen Ji:

Learn hip-hop dancing, and I combine it with some new-jazz and voguing elements. In other words, it’s hip-hop based dancing combined with new-jazz and voguing elements.





Ying Qiao:

Teaching Chinese Modern Dancing (girl part only), which is characterized by Chinese style background music, Chinese props such as sandalwood fans, and elegant and lyric movements.




YEMIELYemile Ojeda:

Zumba is a Latin based dance class that includes salsa, cumbia, merengue, and others moves with an infusion of hip hop into an easy to follow, fun, and effective workout. It will also include warm-up techniques, abdominal work, and a cool down for a fun and effective workout.




giangGiang Pham:

Bachata is a fun, sexy and beginner friendly Latin dance. We had a first class today & aimed to have a Bachata performance for Americas Regional night.

Next class is at 7-8pm
