The amazing six weeks in Prague comes to an end! It has been a rollercoaster ride. As we plan our future travels we also reminisce on the wonderful moments we had in Prague.

It has been a hectic six weeks in terms of classwork. Finishing an entire trimester’s work in a week is not easy. We had a lot to read and prepare. We had to get our assignments and all the classwork done before the weekend because we needed time for travels. One important lesson which we all learned in the module abroad is efficiency. No work on weekends, but efficient work in the weekdays was our goal. The company visits were amazing and a learning experience with six visits in one month, spanning different industries and functions. The marketing strategy and the corporate cultures are different and gave a better understanding of the European markets.

But, most of all, the unforgettable thing is the beautiful city of Prague: the ever lively streets and the crowd, the amazing architecture, the vibrant night life, exotic food, beautiful places – Castle, the Charles bridge, the Old Town Square. We have become natives of Prague.

As Kyle Morgan says, “I am going to miss Prague, its life and energy. Any place is going to be dull in comparison with this city.”

And Isha Rao says, “I feel like I am l leaving home. In my first week I fell in such love with Prague that I wanted to settle here. Now I am going to miss this place.” Ritika Sinha chips in and adds, “I can’t believe I am not going to walk these streets any more, or pass these shops. Wow! Time has just flown!”

 

This last week has been amazing. A befitting end to an amazing journey. The week started off with the Prague regional night in the cruise. On Tuesday, we had an amazing dinner in a vineyard, a delicious dinner in a beautiful environment. And on the final day, we had a collective lunch as everyone decided to embark on their journeys.

Most of the students are continuing their travel across Europe. Between all the members in the class, we are going to cover most of Europe. So in a true Thunderbird Spirit the adventure continues…
