A (Regional) Night to Remember!

americas2013650+ attendees.

16+ performances.

10+ menu items.

Best. Regional. Night. Ever.

Kudos to every single person who made it an extremely entertaining evening – the Latin American Business and Culture Club, ThunderDance, TSG and the ThunderPlanners. It indeed was a perfect evening to experience the truest spirit of American culture. Probably no other regional night has witnessed a massive attendance as did the Americas Regional Night on Saturday, March 2nd. That was the day when the Annual Alumni Rugby games were held too – all the more reason to celebrate!

Performers set the floor afire with several dance forms – from Regetton to Bachata and even Line Dancing and a rap session by the MC’s. The most unique event of the night was the traditional Cueca with live song and dance performances, thanks to the efforts of the club.

The Club also set out a lip smacking, truly American fare – from the cheese enchiladas to the delicious mini chimis. And of course, the trademark Margaritas! The graduating class of 2013 also witnessed a special dedication from its juniors. A flash mob took the attendees by surprise – in true Gangnam Style.
