Supply Chain Management Functional Day

GSCCA note from the Club Leadership team…

This week is an exciting week for the Global Supply Chain Club.  On Wednesday (02/15)  from 5:00pm – 6:30pm we are hosting a happy hour at the Pub in order to meet new members and open up communication lines with students.  Please come out for some tasty appetizers and beverages on us; well, we’ll trade you food and drink for a hello and maybe an idea of what you what from GSCC.

On Friday morning is the first ever Supply Chain Management Functional Day.  If you are interested in Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Global Trade, Operations, and the rest of the Supply Chain functional family, come to Lecture Hall 54 at 9:00am for a morning of speakers.  Professor Cavinato will be giving an overview of the functions, followed by presentations by managers from Mobile Mini, Honeywell, and Avnet.  The presentations will be relateable while also giving some deep information about what their particular functional areas do. GSCC invites students to have an informal networking lunch with the presenters at the Commons after Functional Day (12:30pm).

Please RSVP on Global Connect in the “Events” tab and remember to wear professional attire.

Thanks,

Global Supply Chain Club Leadership Team
